Introduction to Professional Cooking at North Country Career Center

In response to the growth of Hospitality and Tourism sector in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, North Country Career Center Adult Education is now offering “Introduction to Professional Cooking.”

Hands-on learners will be right at home as our classes are designed to simulate an actual shift in a restaurant kitchen:  prepping from a prep list, cooking in our commercial grade kitchen, and cleaning to health inspection standards.  Students should complete this class with confidence and knowledge to work independently in a professional kitchen, and when to ask questions that will further their value as an employee.

With our instructor Chef Tosca’s 30+ years of experience along with her network of fellow chefs and restaurant owners, Tosca’s fresh perspective will add relevance to training and improve opportunities for our students.
