In partnership with the Vermont Training Program, Department of Economic Development, North Country Career Center Adult and Continuing Education Department are able to offer a discount to sectors of Manufacturing, IT, Healthcare, Telecommunications and Environmental Engineering, for students who will be directly enhancing their education and skills training in their current job.
You must earn at least $16.92/hr. if no benefits are received. If you are receiving benefits, you must currently earn at least $13.53/hr. for existing employees and $11.84 for new hires.
Your employer must also offer three of the following: health care benefits with 50% of the premium paid by the employer; dental assistance; paid vacation and holidays; child care; other extraordinary benefits and retirement benefits.
You must provide your social security number in order to receive the discount. Employer must pay a minimum of 50% of the overall training costs. (subject to change)
