Certified Medical Assistant

Certified Medical Assistants work in hospitals and doctors’ offices and are often the first person you meet after a receptionist.  Medical assistants interview patients about their medical history. They also gather information such as height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse, and prepare patients for medical procedures.  Certification for Medical Assistants is provided through the National Healthcare Association.
