45 Hour SolidWorks Certification Course

The course will be taught by Christopher Gray, RVTC’s Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Instructor.
The course will be available to a maximum of fourteen students. The Course will be held on Mondays and
Thursdays from 3:30PM-6:30 in the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Computer Lab (B115-C). The
course will begin on Monday, April 17, 2023, and end on Thursday, June 8, 2023. There will be a total of 15,
3-hour sessions. The RVTC will provide the instructor, engineering workstations, Solidworks 2023 seats, and
up to three, hard copy (and/or) ebook textbooks:
SolidWorks – Basic Tools by Paul Tran, SDC Publications
SolidWorks – Intermediate Skills by Paul Tran, SDC Publications
SolidWorks – Advanced Techniques by Paul Tran, SDC Publications
Depending on the student’s prior experience with SolidWorks, the course will offer two certification options:
• Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA), 3-hour, two-part, online exam
• Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP), 3.5-hour, three-part, online exam
Access to certification exams will be provided by the RVTC at no additional cost to the student. One attempt
at each certification will be included as part of the course.
