Heavy Equipment Operation-Introduction

This class will introduce students to the basics of operating heavy machinery. You will learn how to safely maneuver a bulldozer, backhoe, skid steer, and dump truck. An optional forklift certification will also be available. Emphasis will be placed on safety and situational awareness.

Heavy Equipment Operator is a growing field in Vermont with median wages approaching $23 per hour.
