OSHA-10 and Flagger Certification

OSHA-10 Construction is an online course safety program required by employers to meet insurance requirements.  We set up the online course and certification system.  The flagger training is a four-hour value-added safety training mandated for road repair and construction.  Each module includes these requirements. 

Module 1:  40 hours

Grader & Excavator Operations

Operate excavators from 7,000 to 25,000 pound machines in a five-acre outdoor classroom. Learn to grade roads and create ditches with a modern grader.  Emphasis on safety, pre-start inspections, and maintenance of graders and excavators.  Also, use state of the art John Deere simulators in controlled classroom settings.

Module 2:  40 hours

Loader, Backhoe, Bulldozer Operations

Practice safe operation of wheel and track loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers in the outdoor classroom, a five-acre sandpit. Hands-on instruction in pre-start machine inspections and procedures and preventative maintenance.  Seat time for outdoor job site operation and on John Deere simulators for best practices.

Module 3:  40 hours

Skid Steers, Compaction Equipment, Dump Truck Operations

Operate skid steers in a five-acre pit. Install attachments and practice efficient and safe operation guidelines.  Operate compaction equipment and roller attachments.  Drive dump trucks in preparation for on-road and off-road applications.  All machinery will include hands-on pre-trip and maintenance routines.
