Winter 2027 Program Dates:  January 5 – March 2, 2027

In-person Skills Sessions:  Tuesdays, 4:00 – 7:30 pm

Online Course Work:  Approximately 5 – 6 hours per week

Clinicals:  32 hours at Helen Porter Medical Center between March 3 and March 13

                (specific dates TBD)(four days from 6:45 am – 3:00 pm)

State Testing:  Late March 2027

Tuition:  $2,738.50 (includes instruction, clinical experience, state testing, and licensing fees)

This course will prepare the student for an entry level position in the nursing field and to apply for Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) licensure with the State Board of Nursing.  Graduates of this program are prepared to work in a variety of office, hospital, and long term care settings and to continue their educations.  Many employers offer excellent benefits including health insurance and tuition assistance for continued education.  Over 300 new LNAs are hired every year in Vermont.

Includes classroom instruction, skills lab practice, on-line instruction, and clinical practice at Helen Porter Health and Rehabilitation. Official signed verification of immunizations/titers is mandatory and must be submitted.
