This class will introduce students to the concepts of MIG (GMAW- Gas Metal Arc Welding) welding including flat, horizontal, vertical and fillet welding techniques. Students will learn MIG concepts including, solid and flux core steel wire, argon gas mixtures, wire size and speed, tip cleaning, nozzle spray, and more.

The class will begin with a review of AC/DC Stick welding before moving fully into MIG. Previous welding experience is helpful but not required. All PPE will be provided.
