Adults in Daytime CTE Programs
In Vermont, an adult with or without a diploma may receive technical training in a traditional high school CTE program. The high school setting and schedule is very different than our programming built for adults, and students enrolled in a high school or home school receive priority in admissions, but this option may be something to consider.
For Vermonters with a high school diploma, tuition in secondary CTE programs varies among centers and is the student’s responsibility. See Support and Financial Assistance for more information.
For Vermonters without a high school diploma, tuition for secondary CTE programs can be covered in entirety through the Agency of Education.
If you’re an out-of-school adult and think taking a traditional, secondary CTE program might be a fit for you, please contact the Training Center nearest you
